The process of electroforming or galvanoplasy was first practiced in 1840, initially for the purpose of producing artifacts and printing plates and so originally became known as "electrotyping".

Galvanoplasty is method of application metal with elestrolysis. Anode is from metal which through eloctrolyte go on cathode which is mandrel or mould.
